Arriving at night in Managua
is not the most pleasant experience. So it was great to see Peter
from Armadillo waiting for us at the airport, not disturbed by all the
hassle around us.
We have used the services from Armadillo two times now and both times
the service was excellent. They are on time, very friendly and
helpful with the luggage and providing information.
People warned us for the state of the cars in Nicaragua.... Well no
worries with Armadillo, they just added a great new Suzuki Jimny to
their fleet. It was a very comfortable and safe trip to Granada
and we will definitely hire this car when we need to make some trips
outside town.

We hired a Toyota Land Cruiser Safari for a two week trip to Nicaragua.
Overall we were delighted with the vehicle and the service provided by Peter.
In terms of the vehicle, if you have intentions of going to the north of the country
or slightly off the beaten track, a 4x4 is extremely helpful. The Land Cruiser was
in excellent condition and has clearly been extremely well maintained by Peter.
We were certainly glad that we had hired it for some of the more challenging
terrain and we believe that it represented good value for money.
Overall we had no problems at all and can only thank Peter, who was very
helpful in providing us with information on the country, the Land Cruiser (we are
4x4 novices!) and made the whole rental process painless. Peter also picked us
up from the airport and dropped us off again - thanks again for waiting despite
our delayed arrival!
We would certainly recommend using Armadillo if you are thinking of driving
around Nicaragua and should we be back in this part of the world again, we
will do so again.

You and your drivers have
always been on time for our pickup and driven in a comfortable and
relaxing manor. We liked the condition of the van
and will rent a vehicle again when there is a need.

In the last two years we visited Granada/Nicaragua 5
times.> Always we could rely on Peter van der Meijs from Armadillo. He never failed to
pick us up in time from Managua Airport and bring us safely to Granada. We also had very
nice and interesting trips with him in the neighborhood around Granada, very convenient for us
because he knows his way around very well and speaks Spanish fluently.

Armadillo and Peter specifically were
an indispensable resource to us in Nicaragua. We and our guests were
flying in and out at crazy times of the morning and we knew that we
could rely on Peter to pick them up. With anyone else we would have
been really afraid that they would not have shown up.
We rented a 4x4 through another agency because Armadillo was fully
booked. In the end we paid more than we would have paid through
Armadillo and our car was not insured (if we hit another car only the
other car was covered). We were nervous the entire time we were driving
around the country.
In short, I would not recommend any other drivers or car rental agency.

friendly, courteous and prompt. Armadillo not only transported us
around Nicaragua but also arranged day trips and assisted with
translation for us Gringos! We would certainly recommend Peter

His prompt communications during our pre-holiday discussions was a sign of his
professionalism and integrity. Peter personally met us at the airport and was kind
enough to give us a "lay of the land" upon arrival. The rental process went as smooth as
silk and the vehicle performed as well as we had anticipated. We highly recommend
Armadillo Nicaragua as an excellent choice for renting a 4-wheel drive vehicle when
visiting Nicaragua. Who needs Hertz, Avis, etc. when a local small business owner will give
you the personalized attention a foreign visitor desires and would never get from one of the
big companies!!
