Border with Costa Rica
Armadillo Nicaragua has its office in Granada. There do we expect our clients to pick up and return the rental car. Nevertheless, many clients arrive in Nicaragua from Costa Rica and/or leave via the southern border. To facilitate these clients we offer the following services:
- The hand over a vehicle at the border or to pick it up there we charge U$75.
- To transfer a client(s) from the border to Granada for handing over the car at our office or the reverse we charge U$15.Please note that in both alternatives the client is already paying for the use of the rental car at the moment it leaves Granada and keeps on doing that until it is accepted by us as returned, in Granada. Also, the client assumes the costs of all the fuel for the rental car. Finally, if there is any other cost like a parking fee or a municipal tax, charged for the rental and/or our other vehicle, that will have to be paid by the client as well. Tickets are excluded, of course.
The distance between the Costarican border and Granada is a bit more than 100 kilometers and the driving time is 1,5-2 hours.
